Concerts
The Choir has performed a wide range of works over the last 9 years, ranging from well-known classics to more 
modern works such as those by John Rutter. We are keen to use local composing and performing talent and our concerts usually make use of professional conductors, soloists and instrumentalists from the local area. Several works by local composers have appeared in our programmes. We are also commissioning new works from local composers for 2010, our 10th anniversary year, and plan to collaborate with other choral and instrumental groups during the summer. We hold our concerts in St. John’s Church in Bishop’s Castle. The Church is well suited to medium-sized concerts, with good acoustics, a full sized pipe organ and seating for around 250. We continue to appreciate the kindness of the Church authorities in allowing us to use the Church for this purpose. .
